THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG
I wrote Until We Meet Again during lockdown after my dad and I watched the movie Yesterday.
There's a line in it that says,
"I've been waiting half my life for you to wake up and love me."
When I heard that, I realized my mom had been gone for almost exactly half of my life.
I went to my room, sat at my keyboard, and wrote the whole song.
I hadn't come to terms with the regret I felt as a kid for not saying a proper goodbye to my mom, but the song called for it.
If you've lost someone you love, especially unexpectedly or at a young age, I hope you know you're not alone.

Music has always been part of my life.
My father has been a working musician for decades, so I grew up surrounded by great tunes. At some point during college, I convinced him to teach me the intro to "Piano Man." I got completely hooked and never stopped learning after that.
Not long after I started teaching myself to play, songwriting became a way to reflect on things I didn't know how to express.
I write, record, produce, mix, and master everything from my home studio. I'm incredibly grateful to the people in my life who have given me countless hours of feedback and helped shape my musicality into what it is today.
I am a proud alumnus of St. Joseph's University and Musicians Institute.
I hope the vulnerability in my music comes through without making you sad :)
